Located in the warm waters of the South China Sea, Borneo is the largest amongst an archipelago of tropical paradise islands in South East Asia, and a group of adventurers’ from Denmark are visiting Sabah to explore its incredible biodiversity!

On our 30-day Expedition Borneo! program, the Danish adventure group will be experiencing a variety of attractions, from white water rafting to jungle trekking!

Their first activity will be overnight camping whilst learning to SCUBA on the PADI Open Water Diver course at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island, which is located less than 10 minutes from mainland Kota Kinabalu, Sabah’s capital. There’s more than scuba diving available too, such as jungle trekking, snorkeling and kayaking. Before they depart back to the mainland for other activities, one of our experienced PADI Instructors will deliver the AWARE Coral Reef presentation on the benefits of conservation. Our island staff team will organize a beach clean for some practical experience of volunteering for a unique education about the natural environment.

With a days’ rest to venture the buzzing streets of Kota Kinabalu city centre, the adventurers’ will prepare for the next few weeks’ of more awesome fun!
