Groups of Camps International adventurers’ arrive at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre to receive a unique education, such as the benefit of protecting and preserving mangrove forests!
The 2nd group (‘Tembikai’ – watermelon in Malay) and the 3rd group (‘Nanas’ – pineapple in Malay) have just completed their camping experience under the supervision of our island staff team of PADI professionals!
In the space of a week, the two groups camped at the island (at separate times), and all participants tried the exciting sport of scuba diving for the first time ever! Their adventure program includes exploring Sabah through various activities, one of them being the opportunity to qualify as a PADI Open Water diver.
For those who, for any reason, do not wish to continue their diver education to certify, they may go kayaking – a very leisurely activity, in which one of our dedicated and experienced PADI guides will lead a small ‘fleet’ of kayakers to the mangrove forest in TAR marine park.
The groups leaving with a positive impression of Sabah is great, but leaving with such a deep appreciation of the environment to be inspired to contribute in future is the goal of our unique education program!
