The group thoroughly enjoyed their day, which was not only fun, but increases their fitness. Sometimes, health and fitness may not be given enough attention when travelling, which is understandable, although travels are less likely to be disrupted by unforeseen illnesses. It can really dampen the mood of any frequent globe-trotter, even if struck with an inconvenient flu or cold, and distract you from enjoying your adventure!
To avoid the adventure turning into a nightmare, we prepare packing lists, general precautions and FAQs for all our groups to maximise their enjoyment!
Before climbing Mount Kinabalu, participants are surprised to see such a short list of items to pack for a 2 day 1 night program, but they’ll know why as soon as they’ve climbed about 1km! Lighter is better, as with the physiological effects of altitude causes 1kg to seem as if it weighs about 20kg!
